House Painting in Bardmoor, Florida
Bardmoor is the golf community in the Seminole and Largo area, built around Bardmoor Golf and Tennis Club in the 1970s and 80s, with single-family homes on the fairways, villa and condo communities, and the Bardmoor shopping and medical area along Starkey Road and Bryan Dairy Road.
Homes here are on their second or third repaint, mostly under associations with approved palettes, and the villa and condo communities need board-level coordination. The oak canopy along the course means shade and mildew. Our St. Petersburg crews are in Bardmoor every week, and estimates are free.
What we see in Bardmoor homes
Shade and mildew
Oak canopy and dense landscaping keep walls damp and grow mildew on the north side. We wash with a mildewcide, let surfaces dry, and use mildew-resistant coatings so the clean look lasts.
Villa and condo communities
Bardmoor's villa and condo associations need written proposals, resident notices, and building-by-building scheduling. We handle it with the board or property manager.

Bardmoor Painting FAQs
Do you charge extra to come out to Bardmoor?
No. Bardmoor is part of our core Pinellas County service area. Estimates are free and there is no travel charge.
My community has an HOA. Can you help with color approval?
Yes. Many Bardmoor associations require approval for exterior colors. We supply color samples, product data sheets, and anything else your architectural committee asks for, and we work from your community's approved palette so the first submission is the last.
Do you work with condo associations and property managers?
Yes. We provide written proposals, certificates of insurance, resident notices, and phased schedules, and we can present to the board. We coordinate elevator reservations, access, and working hours with the management office.
Why does my house grow mildew, and will new paint stop it?
Shade and humidity. The oak canopy along the course keeps walls damp, especially on the north side. We wash with a mildewcide before painting and use coatings with mildew-resistant additives, which slows it dramatically, though an occasional rinse still helps.
When is the best time to paint a house exterior in Bardmoor?
October through May. Humidity is lower, surfaces stay cooler, and there are no daily afternoon storms, so paint cures evenly. We paint exteriors in summer too, working mornings and watching radar, but the dry season gives the most predictable schedule. Interior work is scheduled year-round.
Do you seal stucco cracks before painting?
Yes. Hairline cracks are filled with elastomeric patching compound and wider cracks are routed and sealed. Painting over unsealed cracks lets water in behind the coating, which is how blistering starts.

Reviews From Some of Our Customers
"This company is OUTSTANDING. Honestly, I won't have enough space here to express the professionalism of the entire team - all of them. They took on a daunting task of scraping and painting TWO historic bungalows with exteriors that had not seen much love over the years. Picture original wood siding that has baked for over 100 years in the Florida sun. And they wouldn't let me feel bad for all of the peeling paint they removed! Everyone smiled, were fun, pleasant, and most importantly, worked their butts off from early morning until the sun went down. Lastly, I first pursued using a local painter but never received a response. Brothers Colors contacted me immediately and were over for a very reasonable quote in a very short turnaround time. So impressive, from start to finish"
"Patrick and his team were efficient, professional, friendly. Patrick personally assisted on our home interior painting job, and did a thorough walk-through to ensure we were completely satisfied with their work. When one small spot was identified he corrected it himself, and even returned the next day to ensure the final touch-up was to our satisfaction. They did a beautiful job - it was a pleasure working with this company, and we will be a repeat customer for future work."
"Patrick was very professional and his team does exceptional work! I would definitely recommend him to everyone who needs a special touch to add value to their loving home! I will be calling him for all my future house painting projects!"
"I hired this company to paint exterior of my house. They did an excellent job. Prompt, professional and reasonably priced. Knowledgeable painters with attention to detail. Thorough preparation, excellent and responsive communication. Finished quicker than anticipated. Very happy with results"
